After 2½ years of studying aerospace engineering at S.U.N.Y. Buffalo, Tim devoted his studies to the legal profession.  In 1993, he graduated from the Case Western Reserve University Law School.  Within six months after graduation, Tim tried his first jury trial.  Since that time, Tim has tried numerous civil, criminal and DUI trials and hearings.

In September 1997, he formed the law firm of Gardner & Kucharski.  He has dedicated himself to undergoing the very same training and courses police officers receive for their certification.  That is why in 1996 he received his student certification in NHTSA's field sobriety testing course.  He quickly followed that up with an instructor certification in field sobriety tests.  Recently he received certification in the operation of the BAC DataMaster, the most widely used alcohol breath testing machine in Ohio.

Tim is a recognized speaker at the yearly Advanced DUI seminars conducted by the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.  He has also received recognition and praise for his work with the Ohio Center for Legal Related Education.
